Theatre for the young ones
Opublikowano: 12 września 2015

Teatr Małego Widza (Theatre For Young Audiences), in cooperation with many great artists from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Italy, Poland and Spain, is offering a great artistic initiative for children and their parents – The International Festival of Theatre for Early Years.

Having assumed that theatre is a multi-dimensional phenomenon characterized by many different aspects except for the logical one, Ms Agnieszka Czekierda decided that a theatre show does not have to be understood by a child; it can be taken in using senses and emotions, in the world of which children feel so well. Consequently, in 2015 Ms Czekierda has launched a terrific family entertainment project consisting of a range of theatre shows for children aged 1 to 5.
All the festival events are organised in Warsaw’s Old Town – in Stara Prochownia, an extraordinary place situated at ul.Boleść 2.
The festival plays have been taking place since May this year. Théâthre de la Guimbarde from Charleroi in Belgian Wallonia, Danmakers Amsterdam from Holland, or artists from De Spiegel (Antwerp, Belgium) and La Baracca – Testoni Ragazzi from Bologna in Italy are only some of the performers who have already presented their shows.
There are still three months of the festival ahead of us, and we couldn’t recommend it more as a great way to have fun and share art and culture experiences with the youngest ones. During the October, November and December weekends, the stage will be taken over by artists from Austria, Germany, Italy and Spain, to name a few. Shows are organised for different age groups too.
Make sure you check out the festival line-up and schedule at www.takepartinart.pl. You will also find information about similar events to be held next year at www.teatrmalegowidza.pl.
It’s certainly a fantastic idea for your family!
