The Polish parliament has passed a law on supporting innovation.
The project was presented by the former President Bronisław Komorowski at the end of his term. The new law
abolishes a number of barriers in the education and the enterprise sector..
A number of new laws go hand in hand with the ministerial plan to internationalize higher education. Foreigners studying in Poland would be exempted from obtaining a work permit, which could help them decide on a high school in Poland. Making it possible for a PhD degree holder with a two-year academic tenure or significant achievements in academic work to be employed as an associate professor or a visiting professor will enable universities and other high schools to employ young academics or foreign experts.
